The All Progressives Congress (APC) has produced its senatorial candidates for Yobe State ahead of the 2027 general elections following a peaceful consensus arrangement.

The candidates emerged from the party’s senatorial primaries conducted across the three districts in the state.

In Yobe East Senatorial District, Governor Mai Mala Buni was affirmed as the APC candidate.

For Yobe North Senatorial District, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan was also endorsed as the party’s flag bearer.

Similarly, Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai emerged as the consensus candidate for Yobe South Senatorial District.

Party stakeholders described the process as peaceful and orderly, with all affirmations concluded without reports of violence or major disputes.

The development clears the way for the three candidates to represent the APC in the 2027 senatorial elections across the state.
