FG Launches Tax Ombud Website, Toll-Free Complaint Centre in Abuja

The Federal Government has unveiled the official website, toll-free call centre, and case management system of the Office of the Tax Ombud as part of ongoing tax reform initiatives under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

The launch, which took place in Abuja, is aimed at strengthening transparency, improving taxpayer engagement, and providing a structured platform for the resolution of tax-related complaints.

Officials said the new digital platforms will enhance accountability within the tax system and make it easier for taxpayers to lodge complaints, track cases, and receive timely responses.

They added that the initiative forms part of broader efforts to modernize Nigeria’s tax administration framework and improve trust between taxpayers and relevant authorities.
