Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure strong support across Northern Nigeria in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking on the political outlook ahead of the polls, the governor argued that voters in the region would make their decisions based on performance and tangible achievements rather than religious, ethnic, or tribal considerations.
Sani dismissed claims that the next election would be a contest between the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Nigerian people, describing such arguments as unconvincing.
The governor maintained that the administration’s policies, infrastructure projects, and economic interventions would resonate with voters and strengthen support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
He also expressed optimism that the APC would remain competitive in the North as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 general elections.
