President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for what he described as a clear understanding of the vision and objectives of his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The President made the remarks during the inauguration of the newly completed Gwagwalada–Dafa–Yangoji Road in the Federal Capital Territory, where he was represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Tinubu commended Wike’s performance, noting that the ongoing infrastructure transformation across Abuja and the satellite towns has strengthened public confidence in government and delivered visible benefits to residents.
He stated that the minister has successfully translated the Renewed Hope Agenda into tangible projects while extending development beyond the city centre to rural communities.
The President emphasized that development must reach all Nigerians regardless of where they live, describing the newly commissioned road as a critical project that will improve access to markets, schools, healthcare facilities, and economic opportunities.
Tinubu also reiterated his administration’s commitment to completing and maintaining infrastructure projects, stressing that public resources must deliver measurable benefits to citizens.
In his remarks, Wike reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to delivering quality infrastructure and expanding development to underserved communities across the Federal Capital Territory.
