President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received the President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), Dr. George Elombi, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting formed part of ongoing engagements between the Nigerian government and key African financial institutions on strengthening economic cooperation, trade, investment and development initiatives.

President Tinubu and the Afreximbank delegation are expected to discuss opportunities for expanding financial support, boosting intra-African trade and advancing strategic projects that contribute to economic growth.

Afreximbank remains a key partner in financing trade and investment across Africa, with Nigeria among its major beneficiaries in areas including infrastructure, industry and private sector development.
