President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has launched five flagship Federal Government programmes aimed at accelerating human capital development, community resilience and economic empowerment under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The programmes were launched in Abuja on Thursday, with the President represented by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.
The initiatives include the Nigeria Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) Additional Financing, the Solutions for Internally Displaced and Host Communities (SOLID) Programme, and the Human Capital Opportunity for Prosperity and Equity (HOPE) Programme.
The HOPE Programme comprises three components: HOPE Governance (HOPE Gov), HOPE Primary Healthcare (HOPE PHC) and HOPE Education (HOPE EDU), all aimed at strengthening governance, improving healthcare delivery and expanding access to quality education.
According to the Federal Government, the programmes are designed to ensure that Nigerians benefit directly from the country’s ongoing economic reforms through targeted investments in human capital, community resilience and inclusive economic growth.
The initiatives also support the Tinubu administration’s broader goal of building a $1 trillion economy by 2030 through sustained investments in people, institutions and national development.
