
Today, the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, participated in a federal government delegation’s visit to Bauchi State for the launch of ten major health infrastructure projects across Nigeria. Accompanied by Prof. Muhammad Pate, Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Edun was welcomed by Bauchi State Governor, His Excellency Sen. Bala Mohammed.


The visit featured the groundbreaking of the MedServe Diagnostic Center, a significant initiative under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at improving healthcare delivery in the region. Edun also took part in the inauguration of the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Complex and personally opened the Family Medicine Complex, expanding access to specialized healthcare services.
In his speech, Edun emphasized the federal government’s commitment to transforming Nigeria’s healthcare sector through projects like MedServe. He underscored the importance of collaboration among federal, state, and local governments and highlighted the role of international partners in the success of these initiatives.
Edun reaffirmed the government’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for Nigerians, describing the groundbreaking ceremony as a crucial step towards a healthier and more prosperous nation.
