As part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to promote youth empowerment and economic growth, the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) has opened applications for its 2025 Entrepreneurship Training Programme. Now in its seventh cycle, the programme is designed to strengthen Nigerian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by equipping young business owners with critical entrepreneurial and financial management skills.

The training adopts a blended learning model, featuring nine virtual modules on DBN’s BizAid platform followed by an intensive five-day in-person workshop for 300 selected participants in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. Outstanding participants will be invited to pitch their businesses for a chance to win grant funding ranging from ₦500,000 to ₦1,000,000. The initiative aims to improve credit readiness, enhance fund utilisation, and support business scalability across the country.

Open to Nigerian entrepreneurs aged 18 and above, the programme offers certification to candidates who complete the online assessments with at least 80 percent performance. Through this initiative, President Tinubu’s administration continues to promote innovation, self-reliance, and inclusive economic development by investing in Nigeria’s next generation of business leaders.
