President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the immediate employment of 200 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) honorees into the Federal Civil Service in recognition of their outstanding performance during their service years between 2020 and 2023.

In addition to automatic employment, each of the 200 honorees will receive a ₦250,000 cash award acknowledging their discipline, selflessness, service and patriotism to the nation.

Further demonstrating the government’s commitment to youth development, President Tinubu also approved scholarships for postgraduate studies up to PhD level to all the award recipients including 10 physically challenged ex-corps members who sustained injuries during their service years.

These measures underscore the administration’s resolve to recognize excellence, support deserving graduates and invest in the future leaders of the nation. Youth who served well are now being placed at the forefront of national development with employment, education and empowerment.
