
President Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja for a multi-nation diplomatic mission that will take him to Japan and Brazil, with a brief stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
According to the Presidency, the trip is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, exploring new trade and investment opportunities, and advancing Nigeria’s diplomatic and economic interests on the global stage.
While in Japan, Tinubu is expected to engage top government officials and business leaders on technology transfer, infrastructure development, and renewable energy. His visit to Brazil will focus on deepening cooperation in agriculture, energy, and cultural exchange. The Dubai stopover will include high-level consultations with Emirati partners.
