Bradley Barcola struck twice as Paris Saint-Germain defeated Lens 2–0 on Sunday to reclaim top spot in Ligue 1, while Ethan Mbappé scored a stoppage-time winner for Lille.

Barcola opened the scoring on 15 minutes with a superb curling effort from the edge of the box, before sealing the points six minutes after half-time with a powerful drive from the left flank. But the victory came at a cost for Luis Enrique’s side, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Lee Kang-in and Lucas Beraldo all forced off injured ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League opener against Atalanta.

Earlier, 18-year-old Ethan Mbappé netted his first Ligue 1 goal in dramatic fashion, volleying home in the 98th minute to give Lille a 2–1 comeback win over Toulouse. The midfielder, who left PSG for Lille last summer following brother Kylian’s move to Real Madrid, struck just moments after Nabil Bentaleb equalised from the penalty spot.

Frank Magri had given Toulouse the lead early in the second half before the late turnaround, aided by the visitors being reduced to 10 men with 10 minutes remaining. The win temporarily lifted Lille top on 10 points, though PSG’s later victory pushed them back into second.

Elsewhere, Joaquin Panichelli’s 92nd-minute penalty earned Strasbourg a 1–0 home win over Le Havre, Paris FC edged Brest 2–1, and Metz were held 1–1 by Angers. Lyon, the only other side with a perfect record, visit Rennes in Sunday’s final fixture with the chance to go top.
