Love is Blind season 7 star Marissa George has publicly distanced herself from a lawsuit filed by fellow cast member Stephen Richardson against the producers of the hit Netflix reality series.
In an Instagram video posted Thursday, Sept. 18, George said, “I do not agree with a lot of these allegations and why I will not be joining the class action lawsuit.” Her statement comes two days after Richardson filed the suit on Sept. 16, accusing producers of failing to pay wages and subjecting cast members to “inhumane working conditions.”
Richardson’s case has reignited debate over the treatment of reality TV participants, but George’s remarks highlight divisions within the cast. While some former contestants have previously spoken out about harsh conditions on the show, others, like George, appear unwilling to join legal action against the production.
