NCR Nigeria Plc has recorded a remarkable rebound, with its share price surging 31% month-to-date in September to hit ₦15, following a strong half-year 2025 performance.

The company swung back into profitability, posting a pre-tax profit of ₦44.6 million in H1 2025, compared to a ₦1.4 billion loss in the same period of 2024. This turnaround was driven largely by cost-cutting measures, including a steep reduction in administrative expenses from ₦1.4 billion to ₦118.3 million, alongside a 10% decline in the cost of sales to ₦737.7 million.

Revenue also improved, rising to ₦899.6 million, complemented by ₦28.7 million in other income. On the balance sheet, total assets grew to ₦5.3 billion, up from ₦4.4 billion a year earlier, while retained losses narrowed to ₦4.6 billion.

The company’s stock has gained about 204% year-to-date, with momentum building since August following the release of its half-year results.
