The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced a reward of $10,000 (approximately ₦14 million) for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of Nigerian national Olumide Adebiyi Adediran, who has evaded law enforcement for over two decades. The Bureau revealed that Adediran has been wanted in connection with crimes dating back more than 20 years, and despite global efforts, he remains at large.

The FBI is urging members of the public with credible information about Adediran’s whereabouts to come forward, stressing that all tips will be treated with utmost confidentiality. The agency emphasized that the reward is aimed at accelerating the long-running manhunt, as Adediran’s case continues to be one of the most enduring fugitive pursuits involving a Nigerian national.

Authorities believe Adediran could be hiding abroad under a false identity, and have called on international partners, diaspora communities, and local informants to assist in locating him. The Bureau has also made his profile and details accessible on its official “Most Wanted” list, appealing for swift cooperation to finally bring the fugitive to justice.
