The Dangote Foundation has launched a landmark ₦100 billion annual education scholarship fund in Lagos, marking one of the most significant private-sector interventions in Nigeria’s education sector. The initiative is aimed at expanding access to quality education and supporting students across the country.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, Aliko Dangote, several governors, traditional rulers, business leaders, and other dignitaries were in attendance, underscoring the national importance of this major investment in Nigeria’s human capital development.

The scholarship fund is expected to serve as a catalyst for educational advancement, broaden opportunities for young Nigerians, and strengthen long-term national development efforts.
