HM Wale Edun Hosts Traditional Rulers from Ikate-Elegushi and Iruland

On Monday morning, the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, welcomed Their Royal Majesties Oba Alayeluwa Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, the 21st Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, and Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, Abisogun II, the 15th Oniru of Iruland, to his office for a courtesy visit.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the monarchs and the minister to discuss topics central to the socio-economic progress of Lagos State and Nigeria. Key issues on sustainable development, economic inclusivity, and the role of traditional institutions in governance were among the highlighted discussions.

Mr. Edun expressed appreciation for the royal visit, noting the critical role that traditional leaders play in fostering stability and growth within their communities.
