
The Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, and the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will headline the fourth edition of the Zenith Bank annual tech fair this week in Lagos.
Themed “Future Forward 4.0: Embedded Finance, Cybersecurity & Growth Imperatives – The Impact of AI,” the event aims to spotlight cutting-edge technological advancements in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, financial intelligence, cloud computing, and communication technologies, among other areas.
In a statement on Monday, Zenith Bank announced that the fair will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, masterclasses, exhibitions, and a Start-up Pitch Competition, known as Zecathon, designed to discover and promote innovative startups.
The event will open with remarks from the bank’s founder and chairman, Jim Ovia, and a welcome address by the Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc, Adaora Umeoji. Vice President Shettima and Governor Sanwo-Olu are expected to deliver goodwill messages to attendees.
A highlight of the fair will be a keynote address by Strategy and Digital Implementation Specialist Robin Speculand, titled “Banking Transformation in a Digital World.”
Prominent figures in the tech industry will also participate, including:

The panel discussion, moderated by Microsoft Client Technology Lead Wole Odeyele, will provide insights into the evolving role of technology in banking and finance. Masterclasses led by industry experts will delve deeper into specific technological innovations and their applications.
