The Committee for the Conduct of the House of Representatives Primary Election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State has clarified the conflicting results that emerged from the primary election in the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency, officially declaring Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi as the authentic winner of the exercise.

The committee stated that the clarification became necessary following controversies and varying claims surrounding the outcome of the primary election conducted in the constituency.

According to the committee, after reviewing the reports and results from the exercise, Hon. Gagdi emerged as the duly elected candidate of the APC for the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The committee further urged party members and supporters to remain calm and united, stressing the need for all stakeholders to work together for the success of the party in the forthcoming elections.
