Alhaji Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has announced the selection of key candidates ahead of the upcoming elections in Kano State.

According to the statement, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo has been selected as the Kano gubernatorial candidate, while Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna will contest for the Kano Central Senatorial seat.

Kwankwaso explained that the decision was guided by principles of equity, fairness, loyalty, and competence, which he said remain central to the progress and unity of the political movement.

He also expressed optimism about the ongoing affirmation exercise, praying for a smooth, peaceful, and successful process.

“May Almighty Allah grant us resounding victory in the forthcoming elections. Ameen,” the statement concluded.
