The Federal High Court has granted bail to the National President of Miyetti Allah, Bello Badejo, in the sum of N2 billion as he continues to stand trial over charges brought against him.

The ruling was delivered on Monday after the court heard arguments from both the prosecution and the defence on Badejo’s application for bail. Following a review of the submissions presented by the parties, the court approved the application and admitted the defendant to bail.

In granting the bail request, the court also outlined a number of conditions that Badejo must satisfy before he can regain his freedom.
