President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Ogun State Governor and Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on the occasion of his birthday, commending his administration’s people-oriented approach to governance and infrastructural development in the state.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the President noted that Governor Abiodun’s birthday coincides with his seventh year in office, describing his leadership and commitment to development as commendable.

Tinubu praised the governor’s implementation of the “Building Our Future Together” Agenda, which focuses on infrastructure development, social welfare, education, youth empowerment and job creation, as well as agriculture.

According to the President, Abiodun has significantly transformed Ogun State through various landmark projects and policies aimed at improving the lives of residents.

He highlighted the construction of a modern airport, the establishment of an airline, and the adoption of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and electric vehicles for transportation as some of the notable achievements of the administration.

Tinubu also commended the governor for expanding healthcare services, improving access to education, and creating an enabling environment for investment and economic growth in the state.

The President acknowledged Abiodun’s efforts in advancing Ogun State’s industrialisation drive and improving the ease of doing business, noting that such initiatives align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.

“As the Governor celebrates this special occasion, I join his family, friends, and the good people of Ogun State to wish him good health and renewed strength as he continues to serve his state and the nation,” Tinubu stated.
