The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has completed its presidential ticket for the 2027 general elections with the nomination of Ibrahim Adamu Bala as the running mate to the party’s presidential candidate, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.
Details on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal confirm Bala’s emergence as the APM’s vice-presidential candidate, giving the party a North-South ticket ahead of the elections.
Bala, 51, is from Bauchi State. His nomination is seen as part of the party’s strategy to broaden its appeal, particularly in Northern Nigeria.
Although the APM has yet to issue a formal statement on the nomination, Bala’s appearance on the INEC nomination portal confirms his selection as the party’s vice-presidential candidate.
The development completes the APM’s presidential ticket as the party intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections.
