
In response to the directive of President Bola Tinubu, victims of the Suleja fuel tanker explosion have been transferred to tertiary medical centers for advanced treatment. Twenty patients have been admitted to the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital in Abuja, while two others have been relocated to the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi.
The transfer process was carefully coordinated, with each patient accompanied by a nurse and family members to ensure continuity of care and emotional support. The Federal Government’s prompt action underscores its commitment to the welfare of those affected by this tragic incident.
The Niger State Government expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for its swift and effective intervention, which has provided hope for the injured and their families.
Rabiu Ibrahim, Special Assistant to the Minister of Information and National Orientation, assured Nigerians that the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation would continue to monitor the situation and provide timely updates.
