In a significant demonstration of African leadership and collaboration, Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, joined South African President Cyril Ramaphosa as a special guest of honor at a high-level briefing during the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
The event highlighted the shared commitment of African leaders to fostering investment and development across the continent. Vice President Shettima’s participation followed his earlier involvement in the Africa Investment Forum, where he engaged with global stakeholders to explore opportunities for advancing the continent’s economic potential.

At the Congress Centre in Jakobshorn, the Vice President contributed to a session titled “A Roadmap to Co-create Investment Opportunities for Africa’s Frontier Markets.” Discussions centered on the Humanitarian and Resilience Investing Roadmap for Africa, emphasizing the need for innovative financing and partnerships to address challenges and drive sustainable growth across the region.
The engagement underscores Nigeria’s proactive role in shaping Africa’s investment landscape and fostering collaboration with neighboring nations to unlock the continent’s potential on the global stage.
