President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the establishment of Inland Dry Ports (IDPs) in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, and Moniya, Oyo State.
The strategic development aims to enhance Nigeria’s trade and logistics infrastructure, decongest seaports, and boost economic activities in the southwestern region. The IDPs will facilitate the seamless movement of goods, reduce transportation costs, and create job opportunities.
This decision aligns with the administration’s commitment to improving the country’s transport and trade ecosystems while fostering regional economic integration.
