Meanwhile, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon team up for ‘RIP’, a gripping crime thriller. Tyler Perry returns with two films: ‘Madea’s Destination Wedding’ and ‘She The People’.

The comedy lineup includes ‘The Four Seasons’, a modern adaptation of the 1981 film, led by Tina Fey. The fall season will also bring major releases such as ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’, ‘Jay Kelly’, and an untitled project from Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow. One of the year’s most anticipated films, ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’, will debut in autumn.

Netflix also confirmed release dates for ‘The Old Guard 2’ (July 2), ‘Havoc’ (spring), ‘Fear Street: Prom Queen’ (summer), and the holiday film ‘A Merry Little Ex-Christmas’ (autumn).

Netflix is investing further in unscripted content, introducing the music competition show ‘Building the Band’ and the social experiment ‘Million Dollar Secret’. Live programming is also a major focus, with ‘TUDUM’, the global fan event, streaming live from Los Angeles on May 31. Meanwhile, comedian John Mulaney will host ‘Everybody’s Live’, a weekly late-night show premiering March 12.

Fan-favorite series are also making a return. ‘Stranger Things’ is set to deliver its most personal season yet, according to the Duffer Brothers. ‘Wednesday’ has completed production and is slated for a late 2025 release. The final season of ‘Squid Game’ will premiere on June 27.

Expansion into Gaming

The highlight is ‘Squid Game: Unleashed’, expected to be one of the platform’s biggest game launches. Other gaming adaptations include titles based on ‘Ginny & Georgia’, ‘Sweet Magnolias’, ‘Love is Blind’, and ‘Single’s Inferno’. Netflix has also secured exclusive rights to WWE 2K mobile games, marking a major step into the sports gaming space.
