
Nigerian Afrobeat star Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has inaugurated the ‘Burna Boy Football Academy’ with training centers located in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.
The academy aims to foster an environment where young African footballers can develop their skills while also emphasizing education, discipline, and technique to thrive both on and off the field.
The academy’s program caters to players aged 4-15 and 16-21, offering training sessions three times a week, each lasting two hours.
Additionally, the academy has formed partnerships with several prominent football clubs, including Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City, and Brighton from the English Premier League, as well as Watford from the Championship and Scottish teams Hearts and Hamilton.
