The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. (NNPCL) has urged the public, particularly jobseekers, to ignore rumors suggesting that employment slots are for sale at the company. NNPCL emphasized that there is no truth to claims that it offers employment opportunities to those willing to pay, labeling such rumors as scams designed by fraudsters to exploit unsuspecting applicants.
In a statement released on Saturday and signed by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, the company clarified that as a reputable organization, its recruitment process is transparent and does not involve the sale of positions or any form of inducement. The statement also warned that “anyone who pays money to anyone for a job in the company does so at their own risk
