The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting will hold on July 24, with the major agenda being the election of a new national chairman following the resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

The decision was reached during a National Working Committee (NWC) meeting held on Monday, and the date has been formally communicated to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The meeting will be chaired by Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, the Deputy National Chairman (North), who has since assumed the role of Acting National Chairman.

The upcoming NEC meeting is expected to shape the party’s leadership direction and reinforce its internal democratic process as the APC prepares for future political engagements.
