The newly rehabilitated Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja has achieved a major financial milestone, generating over ₦700 million within just three weeks of operation.
The announcement was made by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Sunday, July 7, 2025, during a Thanksgiving Service held at St. James’ Anglican Church, Asokoro, Abuja. The Minister attributed the impressive performance to the renewed confidence in Abuja’s infrastructure under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
According to Wike, “In just three weeks, the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre has generated over ₦700 million. That is what President Tinubu’s name has brought to Abuja.”
The centre, recently renovated and renamed in honour of the President, has quickly become a preferred destination for high-profile events, conferences, and exhibitions. Its modern facilities and strategic location in Nigeria’s capital have driven a surge in local and international bookings.
The project is part of President Tinubu’s broader Renewed Hope Agenda, focused on revitalizing national infrastructure, enhancing revenue from non-oil sources, and restoring public assets for productive use.
The Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre now stands as a testament to the administration’s commitment to economic transformation, efficient asset management, and global-standard service delivery.
