Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Calabar, Cross River State, for the 8th edition of the Expanded National MSME Clinics, a flagship programme of the Federal Government aimed at advancing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda for economic growth and grassroots empowerment.

On arrival at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Vice President Shettima was received by Governor Bassey Otu before commissioning two newly acquired aircraft for Cally Air, the state-owned airline. He later proceeded to the MSME Clinics venue to engage with entrepreneurs and stakeholders.

The Expanded National MSME Clinics serve as a collaborative platform where regulatory agencies address the operational challenges of small businesses while enabling exhibitions, on-site investments, and enterprise development in five critical areas: funding, skills, infrastructure, market access, and technology.
