Tinubu to Embark on Two-Nation Trip to Japan, Brazil

President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Wednesday, August 14, for an official two-nation visit to Japan and Brazil, with a stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, before heading to Asia.

The trip is part of the president’s ongoing diplomatic engagements aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, boosting economic cooperation, and attracting foreign investment to Nigeria. While in Japan and Brazil, Tinubu is expected to meet with top government officials and private sector leaders to discuss trade, infrastructure, and energy partnerships.

According to the presidency, the visits will also focus on enhancing Nigeria’s global standing and expanding its network of strategic allies. The president will return to the country after concluding both engagements.
