AS Roma have approached Liverpool over a potential loan move for Greek left-back Kostas Tsimikas.
The 28-year-old is keen on joining the Serie A side, but negotiations remain at an early stage as Liverpool are pushing for a permanent transfer rather than a temporary deal. Roma, meanwhile, prefer an initial loan arrangement.
Two other unnamed clubs are also in the race for Tsimikas, adding further competition for his signature as Liverpool weigh up their options.
