
Vice President Kashim Shettima has restated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to diversifying Nigeria’s economy, highlighting recent bilateral agreements with Brazil as deliberate moves to strengthen key sectors. He assured the Nigerian Economic Society of government’s openness to expert advice in advancing reforms.
In a separate meeting, the Nigerian Institute of Architects urged the creation of a presidential task team to promote good architecture, address sector challenges, and improve standards. The Institute also named Shettima Nigeria’s “Champion of Good Architecture.”
Shettima pledged government support for both economists and architects, stressing that diversifying the economy and enhancing architectural standards are vital to unlocking opportunities, improving infrastructure, and achieving sustainable national development.
