The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Mrs Nancy Sabanti Nathan as the Acting Head of Service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.
According to the statement, Mrs Nathan will serve in an acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. Until her new role, she was the Permanent Secretary in charge of the Youth Development Secretariat of the FCTA.
Mrs Nathan has held several key positions within the administration, including serving as Director of Finance and Administration in the office of the FCT Minister before her elevation to Permanent Secretary. Her appointment reflects continuity in leadership within the FCTA as the administration prepares for broader institutional reforms.
