
Honourable Minister Dr. Bosun Tijani delivered the keynote address at the opening of the two-day ‘Global Inclusivity and AI: Africa Conference’ in Lagos today. The conference aims to broaden the global discussion on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and foster alignment between Nigeria, other African nations, and the United States on AI governance.

In his address, Dr. Tijani emphasized Nigeria’s commitment to collaborating with international partners to advance AI technologies. “Nigeria is open to collaborating with the U.S. Government, represented at the conference by Dr. Seth Center, Acting Special Envoy for Critical and Emerging Tech, and other key stakeholders,” he said. This collaboration is part of Nigeria’s strategy to leverage AI and other emerging technologies to drive innovation, boost productivity, and ensure widespread prosperity.
