The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a 43-year-old man, Patrick Ojele, who allegedly pretended to be mentally unstable while running a secret marijuana farm in Awka. According to authorities, Ojele had been cultivating the illegal crop for over two years under the cover of his feigned condition.

Police operatives reportedly uncovered the farm following credible intelligence and arrested the suspect at the site. Preliminary investigations revealed that Ojele had been supplying marijuana to dealers within and outside the state.

The Command stated that the suspect will be charged to court after investigations are concluded, warning that it remains committed to clamping down on drug-related crimes across Anambra.
