Continental AG’s automotive spin-off, Aumovio, made its stock market debut on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange with an initial valuation of €3.4 billion. Shares opened at €34.12, marking the company’s first step as an independent player in the automotive technology sector.

The separation aligns with Continental’s strategy to streamline operations, giving Aumovio the flexibility to focus on software-defined vehicle platforms, advanced driver-assistance systems, and digital mobility solutions.

Aumovio has set ambitious long-term targets, projecting sales growth beyond €24 billion, up from €19.6 billion last year, and aiming for an adjusted EBIT margin of 6–8%.

While analysts note the market debut came in slightly below earlier expectations, the company’s emphasis on next-generation mobility technologies is expected to position it strongly in the evolving automotive landscape.
