The NFL has officially announced that Bad Bunny will headline the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, set for February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The 31-year-old Puerto Rican superstar, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, becomes the latest global artist to take center stage at the world’s biggest sporting event. The reveal came during halftime of Sunday’s Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers game, with the NFL teasing the announcement across social media before the broadcast.

In a colorful Instagram video, Bad Bunny sat atop a beach goalpost against a sunset backdrop as text across the screen teased the Apple Music–sponsored performance. He also shared his excitement on X, writing that he agreed to the gig after “thinking about it with my team,” referencing his choice to skip U.S. tour dates during his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour in protest of former President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.

Jay-Z, whose Roc Nation partnership with the NFL makes him the league’s “live music entertainment strategist,” praised the history-making choice. “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage,” Jay-Z said. In his own words, Bad Bunny dedicated the show to his heritage: “What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. This is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”
