
The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has assured Nigerians that the country’s insecurity challenges will soon be a thing of the past. Ribadu made this statement on Friday in Damaturu while offering condolences to the people of Yobe State following a recent insurgent attack in one of its communities.
He commended the armed forces and security agencies for their relentless efforts in fighting insecurity, noting that their sacrifices have contributed to significant improvements in the nation’s security. Ribadu emphasized that the federal government is “working tirelessly to eliminate insecurity, and it is only a matter of time before the entire country is fully secured.”
The Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, also expressed sympathy for those who lost their lives and property in the attack, offering prayers that such incidents would not happen again.
Yobe State Governor, Mala Buni, expressed gratitude to the delegation, saying their visit gave the people of the state a sense of solidarity. He urged Nigerians to continue praying for the success of President Bola Tinubu, noting that “his success is the nation’s success.”
