President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated former Vice President Namadi Sambo on his turbaning as the Sardaunan Zazzau by the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, held on Saturday, October 11. The President described the title as one of deep cultural and historical value, reflecting the Emirate’s trust in Sambo’s wisdom, integrity, and dedication to societal progress.

He noted that the honour is a testament to the former Vice President’s record of humility, statesmanship, and contributions to national development, saying it highlights his lifelong service to both his community and the nation. President Tinubu said such recognition reinforces the importance of honouring individuals whose lives exemplify leadership and patriotism.

The President also commended the Emir of Zazzau for upholding this noble tradition and wished Sambo success in his new traditional role.
