DEFENCE MINISTER VOWS PROTECTION FOR SOLDIERS ON LAWFUL DUTY

The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to protecting all members of the Armed Forces carrying out their lawful duties.

Speaking in response to recent public comments, the Minister assured that the military high command and the government remain united in defending every officer and soldier acting within the bounds of their mandate.

He emphasized that the welfare, dignity, and operational independence of the nation’s troops are non-negotiable, noting that the Ministry of Defence will continue to ensure discipline, professionalism, and respect for the rule of law within the armed forces.

Badaru urged all military personnel to remain focused on their duties and uphold the highest standards of conduct while maintaining national security and unity.
