Ebonyi State Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has presented a ₦884.87 billion budget proposal for the 2026 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly.

Tagged “Budget of Consolidation and Sustainable Growth,” the proposal targets continued development across key sectors, with expected focus on infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and economic empowerment.

Governor Nwifuru said the budget is aimed at sustaining ongoing projects and expanding opportunities for citizens, while improving the state’s revenue base.
