
Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), is currently undergoing screening in the Senate to confirm her appointment as the substantive holder of the position.
The confirmation hearing is taking place in the upper legislative chamber.
Kekere-Ekun has served in an acting capacity since August, following the retirement of Olukayode Ariwoola. She was accompanied to the screening by several justices from various courts and members of her family.
