

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on Nigerians living abroad to contribute to national development by partnering with agencies at home to promote innovation. She made the appeal while meeting Nigerians in Qatar during the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), emphasizing the importance of mentoring youth and shaping positive mindsets among students.
During her visit, the First Lady referred some promising innovators to the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, for potential collaborations. She highlighted that cooperation between startups and government agencies can accelerate progress and drive meaningful change across sectors.
The First Lady also received members of the Committee of Pro-Chancellors of Federal Universities of Nigeria attending the Education Beyond Borders Conference, underlining Nigeria’s commitment to advancing education, supporting innovation, and fostering partnerships for national growth.
