The Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination and Head of the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit, Hadiza Bala Usman, attended the Nigerian Youth Academy Gigs Initiative organised by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development under Hon. Minister Ayodele Olawande Wisdom. She commended the programme for equipping young Nigerians with practical skills and creating pathways to economic advancement, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for a $1 trillion economy driven by job creation, MSME growth, and digital innovation.

Over 100 youths received grants of 1 million naira each to expand their businesses, a gesture Bala Usman described as a direct investment in Nigeria’s economic future. The support is expected to significantly enhance entrepreneurship and provide young Nigerians with the resources needed to scale their ventures.

Bala Usman also praised Minister Olawande Wisdom for his dedication to youth empowerment and reaffirmed her office’s commitment to supporting initiatives that provide opportunities for young people. She emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and development partners to ensure the sustained growth of youth-focused programmes across the country.
