The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Olohundare Jimoh, has ordered the permanent deployment of police personnel to Grange School and Greensprings School (Anthony Campus) in Ikeja following reported threats of attacks by unidentified persons.
The directive comes amid growing concerns over the safety of students and staff after intelligence reports indicated potential security risks targeting the two schools. The police command said the move is aimed at preventing any breach of peace and reassuring parents, school authorities, and the general public of adequate security measures.
According to sources, the deployment will involve uniformed officers and strategic patrols around the school परिसर, with additional surveillance to deter any criminal activity.
The Lagos State Police Command has urged residents to remain calm and vigilant, while also encouraging members of the public to report any suspicious movements or information that could help security agencies neutralize threats.
