The Federal Government has unveiled a Unified Housing Delivery Framework aimed at accelerating housing development and expanding access to affordable homes across the country.

The framework is designed to harmonise policies, streamline approval processes, and improve coordination among federal, state, and private sector stakeholders involved in housing delivery.

According to the government, the initiative will help address Nigeria’s housing deficit by encouraging private sector participation, enhancing financing mechanisms, and ensuring the efficient use of land and infrastructure.

Officials explained that the Unified Housing Delivery Framework will also promote transparency, reduce construction bottlenecks, and support sustainable urban development nationwide.

The Federal Government reaffirmed its commitment to providing decent and affordable housing for Nigerians, noting that the framework aligns with broader economic and social development objectives.
