Juventus and Paul Pogba are reportedly close to reaching a mutual agreement to terminate the French star’s contract, which would see him become a free agent by 2025. Discussions are expected to begin tomorrow following the Court of Arbitration for Sport’s (CAS) final verdict.

The club and Pogba believe this is the best solution, allowing the 31-year-old midfielder to start fresh after a challenging period in his career. Pogba is eager to return to training in January, with hopes of playing again by March.

Though Pogba has a deep connection with Juventus, its fans, and his teammates, the Frenchman feels the time is right to pursue new opportunities. A free agent in 2025, Pogba is keen to focus on rediscovering his passion for football.

In the meantime, Pogba is set to join the French national team, where he will meet coach Didier Deschamps and dream of a future return to international football. The coming months will likely see Pogba prepare for what could be a significant chapter in his career as he looks ahead to 2025.
