President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday met with stakeholders and victims of the recent terror incident in Jos, Plateau State, expressing deep sympathy over the loss of lives and pledging federal support for affected families.
The President acknowledged that no amount of compensation could replace those who were killed but assured victims that the Federal Government would provide necessary assistance and stand by them during this difficult time. He emphasized the administration’s commitment to offering comfort and relief to those impacted by the tragedy.
In an emotional moment, President Tinubu addressed one of the victims, Rhoda Favour, stating that while her pain is deeply felt, the loss of Ayuba cannot be reversed. He, however, reassured the public that security agencies have been directed to track down and bring the perpetrators of the attack to justice.
